How ABI Plans to Provide Clients With Even Better Strategic Support

In 1980, I started ABI amid a recession. That year, I was supporting a handful of clients in the packaging sector. Fast-forward to 2017 and ABI has offices around the globe from New York to Shanghai. We work with some of the largest and most successful B2B companies in the world, all hailing from a wide range of industries. And we’ve seen these companies through large-scale industry shifts, including the effects of globalization and the digitization of marketing and public relations. ABI is no stranger to evolution and growth, and now, we are excited to share an important change of our own.

ABI has reached an agreement to be acquired by Finn Partners (www.finnpartners.com), an established and respected full-service international marketing and communications firm. We will operate as a dedicated practice in the Finn community, continuing to focus on the industrial and trade B2B sectors.

ABI and Finn are a natural fit. Both companies are committed to close collaboration with clients, exhibit a deep understanding of the industries in which we work, and focus on providing ideas and counsel that help companies grow.

Finn Partners has a global footprint that complements ABI's, with nine offices in the U.S. and offices in London, Paris, Munich and Singapore.

Clients may be wondering how this change will affect their work with ABI. To our client family, we can assure that you will continue to receive the service and support you have come to expect from us. Our account teams will remain as they are today and all programs and projects will remain on track.

As of this fall, our New York and London-based teams will relocate to the Finn offices in their respective cities in the coming weeks. In short, expect the same work—just from a few blocks away from our current office spaces.

Becoming part of the Finn Partners family will also provide our clients with a greater depth of resources and capabilities, including consumer, crisis communications, CSR, financial services and public affairs. Finn Partners offers an extensive, in-house digital and creative team, which will now be made available to ABI’s clients. However, there is no issue in retaining any external vendor relationships that are currently in place.

ABI will now be known as ABI, a Finn Partners Company and our branding will be updated to reflect the community we are joining. We are so delighted to share this news with our friends in the industries we serve. If you ever have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. Our doors may change, but they are—and will continue to be—wide open.
